LHB has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Integrative Design Team Business Unit. This position can be based in our Duluth or Minneapolis, MN offices depending on the candidate’s preference.
This is a hybrid working position for summer 2026 with the possibility of continuing through the 2026-27 academic year. Actual hours and schedule will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Position Summary
As a mechanical engineering intern, you will have customized, hands-on training through direct project experience and related additional duties. You will be working with building plumbing, fire protection and HVAC systems design and drafting, as well as assisting with field verification. In this position, you will interact with other LHB design disciplines, clients, and contractors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
